Privacy Policy
The short version
This website does not ask for your name, email address or payment details. When you buy, you do it on the checkout provider's own secure page, and they handle your payment and contact details. The guide itself, including the interactive field guide, does not collect or send any data.
This website
- No account and no forms. The page has nothing to sign up for.
- No advertising cookies or trackers.
- Small settings in your browser. The page stores a few harmless values in your own browser so it behaves sensibly: whether you have already seen the "before you go" message this session, and which version of a headline you were shown if a page test is running. They contain nothing about you, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
- No analytics service. This page does not currently send visit statistics to any analytics provider.
- Hosting. Like every website, the server that hosts this page keeps routine technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
- Links to the checkout. If you arrived from a video link that carries campaign tags (such as utm_source=youtube), those tags are passed on to the checkout so we can tell which videos helped. They describe the link, not you.
When you buy
Checkout and delivery are provided by Gumroad, which receives the details you enter there (such as your email address and payment information) and processes them under its own privacy policy (Gumroad privacy policy). We receive the order details the provider shares with sellers, such as your email address, so that we can deliver the product and answer support requests. We never see your full card number.
We use your email address only to deliver your purchase and help with it. We don't sell or rent it.
The guide you download
The PDFs and the interactive field guide work on your own device. The interactive guide stores your checklist ticks, trip plans and logbook entries in your own browser only. Nothing is uploaded.
Your choices
You can ask us what order information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where the law allows, by contacting us below.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
